Animal Man #19 by Jeff Lemire and Steve Pugh
This is exactly what Lemire is best at. We are seeing shades of Essex County here. Very humanistic stories that are sad as hell.

The only way you believed that she didn’t remember him, especially after the interviews shortly afterwards the first issue where Scott said that wasn’t the case, was if you weren’t reading the book or just ignored certain issues, like oh I don’t know issue 17 where she refuses to go inside Wayne Manor because she can’t face Dick. Jesus fucking christ.
Wow, let me start by saying thanks for being so polite about that I really appreciate that, I don’t know how people can say they’re worried about starting comics because other comic book fans are rude.
And also, in issue #6, she mentions how she does remember Nightwing but she doesn’t remember his name and even says the exact words “I will remember him when I see him again” which proved to be her simply repressing memories that are too painful for her, as shown in the most recent issue, and her choosing to not go inside Wayne Manor, in my opinion anyway, was so that she wouldn’t be overwhelmed with memories/emotions upon seeing Nightwing.

Okay now take everything you just said, say what you said first again, explain how those two posts correlate and doesn’t make what you were doing senseless and pointless bitching to bag on Lobdell or just plain old cancel each other out, and then tell me how I’m a dick for calling you on it. Anyone whose talked to me on here knows I’m normally pretty amicable about comics and more than willing to help anyone out, suggest titles, or whatever in general and not be a dick about it. The one thing I will be a dick about? Shit like this. Bitching for the sake of bitching is the exact reason I dread going into the RHatO tag. Don’t try to deflect from what you were doing by acting like I’m some horrible person for calling you on your bullshit whose horrible to new comic book fans. It’s petty and childish.
That last post pretty much sums up my feels on red hood and the outlaws this week. I don’t want to give up on the book just yet, despite Tynion regressing all three characters in a single issue, but people’s reactions to the Lobdell run show how little attention they were paying when reading the books or just reblogging bits and pieces adding in whatever criticism they could magic up from seeing one panel from a book. Ugh just so annoying.

Couple has really awesome Batgirl/Nightwing wedding cause they’re awesome.
